Getting back in the swing
OK, it is late. I have been sitting here trying to stay awake. The Queen came home this afternoon with ripe splitting headache. However, we allowed the boys to invite friends over for night games before the pain has really set in. It was my understanding that we were suppose to have everyone gone by 10. 10 came and went. Some departed and some did not. 10:30 came and went. I had loaded some of my crazy music to the blog by then. I finally gave up and started offering rides home a few minutes to 11. I just got back.
Now I am sitting here wondering about life. When I dropped off Horn man's friends, Tenor man did not understand why I was not moving. I told him that I was waiting for them to get into their houses safely. Once I had confirmed they were in, I continued down the road to take home his friend. We were almost to the elementary when she informed us that her mother had just passed us going the other direction. I flipped a U turn and started chasing her. I probably freaked her out. She had just passed this car, watched it flip a U turn and then start speeding up after her with the lights flashing. When we arrived at 8000, I told Tenor man's friend to jump out and stop her mother from continuing on. I should have just followed her to the house.
Now I am sitting at computer and noticing that a neighbor across the street has come out to their car to get away from what ever is happening in there. I understand that it is not the first time this evening. I have been informed that they get in the car, start it, take a couple drinks and then turn the car off. Now they are just sitting in the car.
The world can be so confusing some times. Sometimes cars, or the people in them, can be scary. Sometimes the cars can be a haven of safety or escape from the people out side the car. The same rule applies to houses, places of work, trains, plan, subways, and more. So what am I just rambling about?
We need to make sure that no matter where we are, that we are always able to find the inner peace and safety. We need to be living properly so that no matter where we are, we can know that the Lord is with us and it will all work out. Does this mean that sometimes our hearts won't start racing, nope, just that we can always find the place within and the turn on the light and let it shine.
Thanks for letting me ramble. Good night.
