How goes the Tilling?

Howdee....

I hope that this week's post finds you all thrivin.  I know that I am feeling the burn this week, but that is good right, it means that I am alive.

I don't know how long I will be able to sit here and update, so let's get rollin.

This week in addition to my weekly pondering, I have spent a great deal of time thinking about the Plan of Salvation.  I guess it kind of rolls hand in hand with the verses I was pondering in some fashion.  Alma 42:2-3.  What stands out to you?

As we know, in the Garden, our first parents made a choice or two.  They exercised their agency.  As a result, for them to grow, learn, develop, and/or progress, they needed to leave the Garden.  "...they were sent forth from the garden of Eden to till the ground, from whence they were taken---yea, he drew out the man..."

By exercising their agency, our parents, learning good from evil, were required to earn what they were given.  They were drawn out.  What does that mean?  We draw water from a well.  The water is moved from one location to another, often times to be placed in an environment where it will be of better use, a trough, a canal, or water way.  All of which have boundaries.

From the first moment, even though they had rebelled against Him, He was leading them to a path that would allow them, guide them, and help them return to His presence.  They were required to learn from their experiences, tilling the ground.  The ground from whence they came.  The ground from whence all of us come.

Why?  So that we would be able to earn our place in His presence once again.  He set boundaries that protected us from being consigned to everlasting damnation.  He set His angels, to protect the way, to guide us, minister unto us, and lead us, if we are willing to receive them, to the road or path that brings us back to God's presence.

What are you doing with the ground you are assigned to till?

Ok, that is all this drug induced mind has right now.

This week has been busy.

Let's start where we left off last week.  It was Mother's Day.  We had a wonderful opportunity to visit with SnackPack.  We are so very grateful for the age of modern technology.  Though it can be frustrating at times, it was great to be able to see, hear, and catch up with him.  The Mothers in our house were happy.

After that, we went on to a normal week.  Work, sleep, eat, and repeat.  The Queen has been busy juggling many different projects and pondering where she wants to be in the next few years.  We will see what opportunities present themselves.

The Professor tracked off for the last time this school year.  She has big plans, but they seen to be ever evolving.  We will see where they end up before she tracks back on.

Tall Man and Ehl-Bo returned from their adventure in Cali.  We still have not heard much, other than it was well worth it and much needed.  We were excited to hear on Wednesday night that Ehl-Bo was personally requested to appear on set for a movie she did not think she was cast for.  It sounds like she started an adventure.  I am learning all the terms, it is not A movie, but will B a movie.  So I guess it will eventually B in between A movie.  Does that makes sense?

Puddin and Lady Hawkins joined us for FHE, planned a week, and did their best to keep to it.  Puddin tested into upper division classes and then got sick.  Lady Hawkins went shopping for a great White while he worked.  She landed one.  Now I know that does not make a lot of sense, but you can ask.

I bring up the tail end of this weeks adventure.  Surgery was postponed until Thursday.  I survived and know that I am alive.  Come up from the deep sleep was a little rougher than I remember in the past, but once they started telling me they were charging by the minute, I found the where withal to get control of my extremities.

They went in for one and came out with triplets.  Not quite a grand slam.  We will see if I survive the downtime.

I hope you are all alive and well, just less of a pain.
