Listen, He is there
Hey, Hey -
I know I am a little late this week, but wanted to do something. It has been a busy week and we are headed into one that could be the same.
My pondering is full this week - Enos 1:9-10
"Now, it came to pass that when I had heard these words I began to feel a desire for the welfare of my brethren, the Nephites; wherefore, I did pour out my whole soul unto God for them."
"And while I was thus struggling in the spirit, behold, the voice of the Lord came into my mind again, saying: I will visit thy brethren according to their diligence in keeping my commandments. I have given unto them this land, and it is a holy land; and I curse it not save it be for the cause of iniquity; wherefore, I will visit thy brethren according as I have said; and their transgressions will I bring down with sorrow upon their own heads."
I have had to sit and ponder much as of late upon the words I have heard. What about you? What have you heard lately? Was it the verse 8 or did He speak to you about something else?
It is the last week of November. We will not only be wrapping up another year, but another year of studying the Book of Mormon as a world wide church. In my personal study, I find myself just a few chapters a head of our weekly study. Today I was reading in Moroni 10:1-7. We have all read it before. Many of us have taken Moroni's invitation to heart and knelt in prayer to know if these things are true. However, this time, I realize that I don't have to knell in prayer. As I have studied this year, I have heard His voice over and over again confirming to me that He lives and that these are His words.
I find myself yearning as Enos, for my children, siblings, fellow ward members, co-workers, and more that they will hear and know as I have heard and know. I often find myself wondering why people choose not to hear or heed His still small voice. It is then that I find myself in my knees, praying that their hearts might be soften and they will find the desire to come unto Christ, reaping in the many bounteous blessings He is just waiting to bestow upon them.
Hear Him!
Our week -
Yep, it has been a week. The Queen's alarm went off dark and early several times this past week. I am grateful that we have jobs to go to. When she is not working, she is planning for the holidays and adding the finishing touches to ornaments.
The Professor has been battling a cold. One of her team mates tested positive this week, so it has put the team on edge. It has been determined that she was always socially distant when in their presence, so her classroom is safe.
Tall Man is pushing hard to wrap up this semester. The online thing is not is fave. He will be happy when he is able to be in the classroom. I understand that Ehl-Bo, Lego, and he stopped by the house this weekend while I was out and about. I am sad that I missed them. Hope to see them soon.
Puddin and Lady Hawkins have been super busy adjusting to the new routine. I hope we are able to touch base with them as well this week.
SnackPack had been social distant, but checks in on a regular basis. He tried something new this week as he created some new beats with the group. I learned that one file was much better quality than the other. I should have listened to the drive first.
