Mini Miracles are the hardest to see, but the best to receive
A week of Minis, that is what makes life great!
Don't you wish that everyday you woke up, felt inspired, filled with light, and confident in the direction you were going to go that day? Me too! But it just does not work that way. I find that I wake up everyday and I have to look for something that inspires me. I watch the sunrise through the window at work, I see and hear from co-workers who remind me that my life in not the only one that is crazy and sometimes less crazy than others, I have to open my heart, mind, and eyes to see and feel the light through prayer, study, and revelation. I have to look at all the tasks I need to accomplish today, review those I accomplished the day before and re-prioritize those that I did not accomplish. I have to do. That is what it is all about. I have learned that as I do, I begin to feel inspired, the light around me brightens, and I am able to see more clearly the direction I should follow. I hope you are able to put forth the same effort, but it does take effort.
OK, enough of the Sunday School stuff, let's get on with the minis this week.
The Queen has been trying desperately to arrange days off for an upcoming adventure. She has requested, begged, plead, and even committed to borrow time from other parts of her life. Well, this week it all started coming together. Arrangements have been made, backups are in place, and she is going to do her best now to prepare and enjoy the adventure. Minis always come right when you need them.
The Professor has spent the week going back and forth between home, summer vacation, and summer work. She is off doing more today. Even though the seats are empty, she is finding herself setting up, cleaning, and training for the moment the seats are full. So much for summer break, though she has had plenty of time to read the past few days. I would say that is a mini in and of itself
Tall Man has taught me and hopefully learned himself that it is ok to know people and ask for help sometimes. We also learned that it is such a small world when it all comes down to it. Our lives are entwined in ways we cannot even begin to imagine. A contact was made last week, a referral was followed up on last Monday. When he arrived, it was because of who he knew, where he had been, and the service he had rendered that landed him a great position. He started working on Wednesday and is opening more doors each day he returns. Minis come from some of the most unexpected events in life.
Puddin is as busy as ever. He continues to bounce from one job to the other, which is a mini, because it keeps his mind occupied. On Tuesday evening, he met with the Pres, and was advanced to a new office and level of stewardship on Sunday. The efforts and direction he has been seeking continue to come in minis.
SnackPack is learning that not all adventures go as planned or expected. As long as you are doing what is right, it does not matter what other think or say. When we recognize this, it is one of the greatest minis we can receive. Sometimes it is one of the hardest lessons to learn. Unfortunately we all have to keep learning it over and over again. More work hours came this week, but it still left time to share with good friends in good places. The sweet minis that sit on the filing cabinet are reminders of all of those things.
I hope you all have a great week. Spend it with good people, build great relationships, and that you are able to feel inspired, filled with light, and walking the path of righteousness in all that you do.
