Yep, it came
Well,we did it! We did our best to patiently wait for that big, white envelope, and now...we get to wait a little bit more. We are so excited to at least know where, when, and what he will be doing. It was kind of funny today in church. SnackPack was congratulated about 8 times. He looked at them with this look of awe and asked them what they were congratulating him for. It really threw people off. I am told I am not to share specifics in this post. If you want specifics you will have to actually go to the blog and watch the video or wait until you get the recording, which won't be there for a week.
Gram and Gramps are headed out this week. The plan is to move their trailer down south and fly home for a few days before entering the MTC. We are excited for them. It has been a little crazy getting ready for it all. Puddin spent the day up there helping winterize, clean, weed, and unload stuff. They took some 400 lbs to the dump, most of it was vines and weeds. Gram is not sure about how well she can see into her neighbor's yards now, but it is ok since it will only be for a few days.
Moving into the home office is starting to be real for the Queen. She was told what day she will be trained next month and then start working from there the following day or the following work day she is scheduled. Now we are in the process of finding the best equipment to get her to work from home. We have a few changes to make. We will keep you updated.
The Professor had pretty normal week. Just the normal day in and day out of hanging with 5th Graders.
Tall Man is actively planning his big trip at the end of the month. His mind has been filled with loads of ideas. We think he is finally settling in on one. There are still several details to work out, but he is getting there.
Puddin had another long week of waiting and sitting around. The envelope came, he was called in for a job interview (temp position that is only supposed to last 3 to 4 months, the Lord works in mysterious ways), and he was given a few more hours downtown just to cause conflict in the world.
SnackPack continues to run himself to exhaustion. In most cases, the minute he stops moving, he crashes. Yesterday, he went with Puddin and Cookie to pick out a new four legged companion for Cookie. I guess he was not warm enough. Kala is cute, full of spunk, and trying to get use to her surroundings. She has been welcomed by all.
So there you have it. A week in review. We can start planning the months ahead now. It will be interesting to see what comes of them.
Shout out to Tokyo Gal, hope your advancement in time was enjoyable. We all thought about you at different periods of time that day.
Have a great week!
