Ending with Sweethearts

Isn't February supposed to bring something; snowflakes, freezing rain, hail or something?  We are getting Spring Flowers.  I am worried for the Tulips and Daffodils.  When or If we get snow for April Conference, they will be killed.  The weather man said that we are supposed to get rain this week.  I am not sure I believe him.

My thoughts have been trying to wrap around Luke 4:22 this week.  As I studied this verse, I could not help but try and imagine the Savior standing to share His thoughts and feelings about Isaiah.  When he was done, the congregation sat there in wonder.  Why?

I suddenly envisioned running into a young man after he returns from college or a mission.  I can remember how nervous he was about leaving.  I can picture him messing around in deacon's quorum, at mutual, or on a scout trip.  Now he stands up and bears His witness of truth and the spirit touches my heart.  I see a mature priesthood holder testifying.

Is this what it was like for the people of Nazareth?  Could they not shake the image of a young scout from their minds?  Could they not believe that this young man could so boldly declare the gospel to them?  I was able to see and understand more about my Savior.  I pray that I am more accepting of Him.

The week has come and gone.  We are gearing up for another one.

The Queen has been working on annual birthday gifts and finalizing second suitcase filled with necessities for Puddin.  Work has been kind of crazy with all the East Coast weather, but we made it.

The Professor had continued to relax and chill during her time off.  Even though she has another week to sit back, it is going to be filled with lots of work stuff.  She has test to take, plans to prepare, and service to render.  Some of the service is with her calling, but service all the same.  She took a group of sisters to the Soup Kitchen yesterday to serve breakfast.  It sounds like it was a good experience.

Tall Man continues to move around at work and keep himself busy.  He has now put in the time and is ready for advancement.  Everything we are hearing is that he is on track for than now.  Currently, his doing lead back up for an hour or two each day.  It is good to see him excel.

Puddin is doing well.  It sounds like he rolled his ankle pretty bad playing soccer.  We are just glad he did not break it.  We were surprised by some pictures and are looking forward to the dialogue the goes along with them.  Some are self explanatory, but the rest leave us scratching our heads.

SnackPack continues to keep himself busy.  He has been asked to start conditioning team mates that are not going to State for Polo.  He is taking is seriously.  He also enjoyed an evening on the town last night with his girl and other friends.  It was Sweethearts.  We will try and post some photos.  I am not sure if they come through on the blog for some of you.  Let us know and we can send them via email.
