Just Believe

I don't know about you, but it seems that the world around me has done it's best to sensationalize this week.  It makes it kind of crazy, but at the same time has given me a great deal of time for reflections.
It just so happens that my scripture of the week fell right in line with my reflections.

Mosiah 4:9 - I believe in God.  I believe that He is.  He is just.  He is merciful.  This is my belief.  I have pondered upon what it means to believe.  My belief is a confidence and trust that not does he exist, but that He is part of my life and the world around me.

I believe He created all things, in the the earth and the heavens.  Created - meaning it takes work.  This world does not just do things alone.  The creation of it not only takes work, but continues to take work.  Miracles happen every day.  He is aware of me, of you, of all of us.  He wants to be part of our lives, we just have to be willing to let him.

I have thought about Heaven a great deal.  I wonder and the place we all have in Heaven.   Heaven is the place where God resides.  To enter heaven is not a free for all.  He has established certain criteria for us to enter His home.  He has made no secret of that.

But most of all, I believe that I do not know everything.  I am still learning.  I have a great deal to learn, but I believe with great confidence that someday I will be able to understand it all.  I do not comprehend all His working.  However, I trust that if I am doing my best to live by the criteria he has established, he will help me comprehend what I need to comprehend when it is time.  I trust that he will guide me.

I encourage you to put your trust in him.  Believe (action word)  Be and example of believing.  Live accordingly.  Put his promises to the test.  He will not only prove you, but allow you to glimpse what you need to know.

So there you go.  Wonderful week to be pondering such things.

Other than the norm, we have had a good week.  Fall League is over.  Now we are full blown into the swim season, coming upon basketball season, have completed one Sadies and only one more to go.

Though frustrating at times, the tile is on the bathroom floor.  Hopefully it will stay there.

The Queen has had her struggles this week.  She spend a great deal of time on ice.  We hope that she is on the mend.  We will try some therapy and more ice to see where it goes.

The Professor spent the last two days of the week back in the classroom.

Tall Man is actively attending rehearsals again.

SnackPack is trying new things.

What more is there?  We heard that a sister from another mother has been given approval for a temple wedding.  Like in 2 weeks. WOW!

We look forward to hearing about changes that took place in your lives this week.

Have a great one #ponderize
