Days of Craziness
I know, I know, this is an insane time to be sending an email, but I still have not found the right routine for this message with this 1 p.m. schedule. It seems that each evening runs a way from me. This week was no different.
Let's do a little different and start with some updates.
For the most part we all went back to work. It has been kind of crazy for the Queen and I. It is the first of the year, people are planning the rest of their years, getting budgets, and making reservations. Mother Nature has been uncooperative with those who are trying to fly. So, in the end, we are crazy busy with one thing or another.
The Professor returned to the classroom. At the end of the week, we found a posting of a song parody of "Hello", but it is "Hello, Snow". She could totally relate. Though we have not been having snow days, there are several districts around us and in other parts of the nation that have been. It is a fine line.
Tall Man and Ehl-Bo have been trying to get ready for the opening of another production at the theater, fighting off seasonal illness, and looking for better full-time employment. They were able to recruit some help throughout the week.
Puddin started the week off running. He has been going non stop, well in the evening. Some of those evenings turn into mornings and then evenings again. Most of the days are filled with catching up, cleaning, unpacking, and filling out job applications. Claim to fame this week was a 27 hour date. Like I said, Mother Nature has been doing some business all over the place.
That is our week. We are either shoveling snow or mopping up water puddles.
My thoughts have been all about 2 Nephi 2:21. What a wonderful gift to us all. He wants us to succeed. He has given us the means to do so. We just have to choose to take advantage of it. The Atonement is real. My thoughts were increase with D & C 82:14, yesterday after hearing incredible testimonies in a council meeting. I am still trying to wrap my head around this one with new thoughts.
Have a great week! I know it is short, but it is crazy early as well.
