Can you Believe what you Hear?
Hey, Hey,
I hope that you have all enjoyed a wonderful Sabbath Day. It has been a long one for me. I am tired, so this might be a short post.
Pondering - Enos 1:5-6
"And there came a voice unto me, saying: Enos, thy sins are forgiven thee, and though shalt be blessed."
"And I, Enos, knew that God could not lie; wherefore, my guilt was swept away."
Have you ever been asked to personalize the scriptures? Have you ever read your name instead of the subject of the chapter or verses you are reading? Try it.
When you re-read these verses, what do you feel? Think about it, remember those times where you have heard the still small voice confirming truth to you. It may be about receiving forgiveness or it may be just a simple truth that you were wondering about. Remember the power of the voice. The joy you felt as you recognized who it was that was speaking to you, God, your Heavenly Father.
Like Enos, I know that he cannot lie. He is real. He is powerful. He is waiting for us to come unto him, just a Enos did. Not once, but often through out our lives. President Nelson suggest we should do it daily.
I leave you with those thoughts to ponder.
Our Week -
It as been a different type of week. The Queen and I were on vacation, but really did not feel like we could go any where in the current environment. Many states have strict guidelines about who can and cannot enter and what those who do have to do once they arrive. It just did not seem worth it. So we hung around town doing little odd jobs.
The Professor spent the week prepping for Fall Recess and the end of first term. It was a rough one, but she received some new information that has given her must to think about.
Tall Man made some head way on resolving injuries after his accident a couple months ago. Ehl-Bo has been filling her schedule with long days and nights in the village. Lego just keeps growing.
Puddin had some boring days and some adventurous days in the slammer. Lady Hawkins made it through another week of classes and applying what she is learning.
SnackPack has been crazy busy helping friends with wedding planning and other adventures.
It has been a wonderful week. We were so happy to end the week with all of them in the house for a bit.
Hope the week to come is incredible.
