Daily Wrestles

Greetings All -

I don't know how it happened, but last weekend seemed to just slip by me.  As I am sitting down now and thinking about where and what was happening, I realize that I need to find better balance in all that I do.  I will admit is it easy to let life, get in the way of all things.

Isn't it crazy?

This weekend, I sit here after being spiritually uplifted by a living prophet of our savior Jesus Christ.  I am in awe as I ponder the words of counsel that have been shared by chosen mouth pieces and how many of their words have answered my prayers.  I look forward to the next six months to life time trying to implement what I have learned, but I digress.  Let's move on to the pondering.

My pondering thoughts come from Enos 1:2

"And I will tell you of the wrestle which I had before God, before I received a remission of my sins."

I have had many similar wrestles in my life.  I was talking with the Queen this week, about one of the most recent wrestles.  I sometimes wonder if I am still wrestling, but I woke in the wee hours of the morning struggling with the challenges of life.  I found myself tossing and turning for long hours, pondering,  receiving counsel, and being chastened until I had to get up and go to work.  Though the tossing and turning stopped, the pondering, receiving counsel, and being chastened did not.

I have found myself kneeling in prayer wrestling for resolution and direction.  I, like Enos, have received answers line upon line, precept upon precept.  I look forward to further learning and guidance.

Today, I have been blessed with new directions, insight, and determination to continue wrestling.  How about you?

I know, without doubt, that my Father in Heaven knows me.  He is real.  He speaks to me and speaks to you.  I know that his son, Jesus Christ, is my savior and redeemer.  His love, grace, and mercy is overwhelming.  I am so grateful for his hand in my life.

Time in passing -

I don't know if I can remember all that has happened over the past two weeks, but I will try.

The Queen is now starting work 45 minutes earlier than she was before.  This means that her alarm is going off in those wee hours of the morning.  It has been an exhausting adjustment.  For one who has always had challenges trying to sleep, she is able to nod off every chance she gets.

The Professor finds herself being overwhelmed with the demands of her classrooms.  Though she is physically present, she has had several of her kiddos forced into quarantine that requires her to work in the virtual world at the same time.  It is challenging to say the least.

We have been blessed to see Lego several times over the past few weeks.  He is growing like a weed.  Yes, we enjoy seeing Tall Man and Ehl-Bo as well, but they think we are boring.  I will say that they are doing well.

Puddin and Lady Hawkins joined us today.  It was fun to catch up a bit between sessions and naps.  It sounds like school is going well, though stressful.  Work is a never ending adventure for both of them.

SnackPack is a walking adventure.  He love when he calls or drops in just to make sure we are still alive.
