Scripture Thought 8/26/08

1 Nephi 1:1What does it mean to be born of goodly parents? (Prov. 22:1) What are your thoughts on this cross reference? (See other references from this reference as well) I see Lehi and Sariah being good people. They did everything they could to give their children things they did not recieve as children. They also hoped that they would have more. I precieve them both being respected members of the community. Lehi was probably an honest businessman. They were involved in their neighborhood. What are we doing to be like this? Are we honest in our dealings? Do we offer an honest days work for pay we recieve? Are we being the best we can be in everything we do? I hope that I have taught these principles to each of you. I know that I am not perfect, but I am trying. What are your thoughts?
