Weekly Check

Well, where should we begin. It has been a busy week. School started for almost all of the family. The King and Queen are being educated in different ways. Little Man is really enjoying his journey. I have been impressed that he is making a concerted effort this year not to be a jerk to others at school or church. He realized that last year he and some of his friends were starting to treat others poorly. When he chose to seperate himself from that group, they started treating him poorly.

He as spent the week doing homework all of his home work for the week on Tuesday. He did have a couple science projects that only required him to have fun. He spent the other days of the week doing those. We have a frig full of funky colored goop. He has had fun.

Middle Man is making the adjustment to school. We all know that it is not his favorite thing to do, but he doing his best to make it. We spent one day this week at a Court of Honor where he recieved several merit badges and advanced to the rank of Star. We were pleased to be there. I don't know whether Little Man and Tall Man were as excited to be there, but they endured.

Tall Man is proving that attitude helps. It has been nice to hear him coming home and talking positively about what his happening in school. He is excelling in his drama class. I heard rumor that his teacher mentioned that she would be willing to move him up to a higher level if he could complete some plot diagrams. He also seems to be doing all of his homework. I it nice not to have to battle everyday. Tonight his has gone to the Cyprus Seminary Tailgate party and will probably go to the game.

Princess has opened a new door in her life. Classes have not started, but she is moving forward with new student orientation. The last few email have been filled with small details of her days. It is good to her about her getting involved. We have all learned to take it one day at a time. I don't know if she remembers, but she can also add to this blog.

The King and Queen have been just taking it all one day at a time. It has been a full week. Work is busy as always, but I know that we bore you with those details. More than anything we have learned that the Lord is really. He plays a vital part in our lives. We would not be where we are without Him, His influence, and His loving concern when we come to Him in humble prayer.

Princess, have you checked your snail mail?

Love Ya,

Dad
