Keeping Arms and Hands Inside the Vehicle

The roller coaster continues to go up and down. It appears that speed is ever increasing.

So, where are we going? In the short term, I sometimes wonder. The Queen and I have been trying to take a vacation together, alone, for the past several months. It just does not seem to happen. As many of you may know, our latest plans were not put to a screeching halt due to my schedule, but for our lack of preparation.

We had planned to leave the country next weekend. We have been talking it up every where we go. I have been making a point to let my employer know how important it is to us that we take this vacation together. As the roller coaster of life continues to roll through the peaks and valleys of the ride, they have casually mention that we might need to adjust a little, that there is a great deal in the tunnel ahead of us, and that they would be willing to work with us, if we are willing to work with them.

Anyway, the Queen happened to be going through some papers in the house, when she came across a copy of one of our passports. It was then that she discovered both of our passports have expired. Suddenly, the anticipation of our vacation has been deflated. We are bound to the U.S. and don't know where we would want to go or what we would want to do that we have not already done. It is a little bit of a bummer.

It has been on my mind the past few days. We really don't have anyone to blame, but we could if we wanted too. We could let it come between us. We could point fingers. We could be come angry. Or we could just call it quits. Funny how it all comes to personal choice. We have not chosen to do any of the above.

We still don't know where, what, or when we are going. The employer is a little excited to have some room to negotiate and is hoping that we will. The sun will come up in the morning and more than likely set in the evening. The Queen and I are still madly in love and will more than likely be the same if not more so tomorrow.

Isn't agency and the plan of salvation a wonderful thing?
