Just another weekly review

Wow! Can you believe that we are already in March.  In our neck of the woods, March came in with a minor Roar.  Nothing to shout about or write home to Mom about.  It rained.  I understand that in other parts of the world, it came in with a little more of a bite.  We started getting our reminder calls yesterday, letting the Queen know that overtime was being offered.  I hope this storm passes faster than the last. It seems like that is all we have been doing at work.  It has been nice the past couple of weeks to have a break.  But it does not look like that is what Mother Nature is going to do this time around.  We just keep plugging along.

It is the first week of a bid as well.  The Queen starts her new shift tomorrow.  Since she is in the to 5% of her function, seniority wise, she was able to write her own schedule.  She will continue to have weekends off and just go to work a little bit later in the day.  Her goal is to jump on the treadmill as soon as Professor Mcgonogall gets off and make sure the boys get to school in a timely manner.  This years polo schedule has been kind of crazy.  Every other Monday they get to sleep in and then they alternate between the deep and shallow end of the pool.   I think they are supposed to be there early every day, but I still have not figured it out.

When the Queen is not at work, she is busy trying to keep the house in order. She has a great schedule, it just seems to be challenged each week with something else.  A last minute meeting, a banquet, drivers ed, or one of another million things that can get in the way.  Some day it will calm down.  Oh and she also took the initiative to take her mixer apart.  Sometimes I wish I had her gumption.  I would have just purchased a new mixer, but she knows she can fix it.  Most of the parts came in the mail yesterday, she is just waiting on one more small pin and she will be set to go.

Professor Mcgonogall continues to keep herself busy.  She hurt her knee this week, so it has slowed down her morning run.  I think she should go to a doctor, but I am just a dirty black pot, talking to the kettle.  She did go out and buy some new running shoes.  She said it made an incredible difference in the way she moves.  Her knee does not hurt when she wears them.

Puddin is plugging along.  This week as opening night for the Spring play.  It has been keeping him kind of busy.  After seeing it last night, I am not quite sure why.  I do not write this to offend, but seriously.  What was that play about?  Was there a plot, story line, meaning, or purpose?   We did out best to fill in the blanks before the night was done.  We have concluded that it was a 1950's version of Seinfeld.  I believe it was supposed to have the slap stick silliness of a Dick Van Dyke show, but didn't really seem to work out that way.  Before it was over we witness the Bishop's son smoke 2 cigars and down a good liter of rum.  I am sure he will be meeting with the Bishop today, if he has not already.  Professor Mcgonogall felt they should have shared a bottle with the audience as well.  Puddin was on stage long enough to still the heart of some young maiden and lure her away into a summer love affair that ended in mass murder, at least that is what we were able to surmise.  His wife did not mind, because she was able to drowned her woes in alcohol for free.  It was not a child friendly setting.  Hence Snack Pack was not impressed, not that he would have been anyway.

There is one more night of the show and then Puddin will be free to re-focus his efforts on grander things.

Snack Pack is still full of it.  I don't know where he comes up with some of his thoughts and ideas.  He keeps us on our toes all the time.  He is getting better at updating the calendar with his intentions and then texting us the real events as they happen.  He also received his lettermans this week.  Now if the weather would change so he had a reason to wear it.

Don't know what else to say.  It has just been a week.  If you have any menu ideas, we would love them.  We are looking for something new and exciting.
