Rat Chasing Scallywags

This week has been quite uneventful.  The term ended last Friday, so the boys were out of school and then went right into Spring Break.  The Professor was a little miffed about the whole thing because her district does not get Spring Break until Easter weekend and even then, it is only a few days not a whole week.  The Queen and I were caught in the middle.  We arranged some time off in order to spend some time with the boys, but even then it was very limited.  So lets see what we have.

The Queen has been focused on getting ready for a silent auction at work and a week long training interview that she will be taking part in this coming week.  She has been trying to get as much done around the house, shelves stocked, clothes cleaned, and boxes packed for her trip.  She does everything and anything to keep herself busy.  There were a couple moments where we had planned time with the boys, but ended up flying solo without them.  She took advantage of the time and finished a couple books she had been reading.

The Professor spent the week in her normal routine.  She was not happy about it, but she endured well.  We keep reminding her that in just two short weeks, she will be starting Spring Break and going off track for a couple weeks.  She will be able to sleep in while we are in our normal routines as well as run away if she wants.  We have filled her head with a couple ideas, we will see if they come to fruition.

Puddin has been spending as much time as he possibly can with his side kick.  It drives him crazy that she has to work when he does not have school.  Even with all the scallywag rat chasing he did this week, he was able to spend a few moments with her.  The most important event was picking her up at the Salt Lake Temple after she took out her endowments.  It has him thinking now.

SnackPack did all he could to spend time with his shipmates, chase rats, and avoid scurvy.  Each day this week was filled with a different activity.  He fills our lives and his with several ups and downs, but we seemed to have come off this roller coaster of a week unscathed.  If he did not have enough to do in his life, he is thinking of adding ballroom to the mix and hopes to start guard training soon.

I have spent my time trying not to dye of boredom.  Luckily, the Queen asked me to change some light bulbs in the galley.  I did all I could to turn it into a bigger project for the week.  I proceeded to rip the whole fixture from the ceiling and figure out how to fix it.  I am not done yet, but at least it will give me a few things to do in the coming days.  I might have been better to start the week that way instead of waiting until the end.

That's it for the week.  Hope yours was Incredible!
