Summer Games

Here we are at the end of....or at the beginning of another week.

It has been busy, full, fun, and exciting all at the same time.

The Queen spent the week working and planning for the Holiday weekend.  At the end of the week, she learned about her training assignments for the next coming months.  She will be in and out of the area through the end of May.  We will do our best to survive while she is away.

The Professor continued to count down the days, hours, and minutes before going off track.  She started the holiday weekend with a day of pampering and will now spend the next few days trying to figure out what to do with herself.  She was planning on taking a trip, but her travel companion was given a job offer, so that plan kind of fell apart.  We will keep our ears and eyes open for another opportunity for her.

Puddin and Snack Pack convinced me that they needed to have a companion at Summer Games in Cedar.  I was able to arrange my work schedule appropriately that allowed us to spend some quality time together.  They slept.  I drove.  When we arrived, they swam.  I worked.  It was a good weekend.  I did get to see them every once in a while.  On Saturday, we were one of the last groups to leave.  I drove.  They slept.

While we were gone, the Queen cleaned up all the mess I made working on the ceiling.  I will do my best not to make too much of a mess tomorrow when I try to wrap the project up.  She has given me specific instructions on how to avoid the crazy mess I made in the first place.  We will see if I am successful.

Just an FYI, we also had Stake Conference this weekend.  Pres. S and Pres. D were released.  Pres. B, from the 2nd Ward, and Pres. L, from the 10th Ward, were called.  I also heard rumor that Bro. H, from the 4th Ward, was ordained an Elder.  He has been waiting a long time for this moment.
