A Turn of Events

Let's switch it up a little this week and start with SnackPack.  I am sure he would not mind and if he does, I am sure I will hear about it.

I do believe that SnackPack still sleeps in in his bed.  I don't know how much sleep he gets there, but I know that it looks slept in.  He continues to support the girls team and has started following Graterville in their pursuit of champion.  As I understand it, the girls took 6th and Graterville took 2nd.  That being said, I think the season is over.  He is now hot and heavy into preparing for Starfish and sitting in the tower.  He gave his 2 weeks in anticipation of having a week off before the summer season starts.  I don't think he is going to get much of a break as they are now preparing the deck and other accommodations for visitors.  He has been chosen to help because Puddin has a set of keys.

Puddin has been almost as busy, but I know that he is still around because we are in the final stages of the year and everything is focused on that right now.  He is reading, writing, and whining about the craziness and mundaneness of it all.  We keep reminding him that no one said it would always be fun and games.  He is learning to buck up and just take it like a man. We continue to do all we can to support him.

The Professor lost a dear friend this week.  She had to flush her relationship with Hagrid right down the toilet bowl.  It was a sad day, but all seem to be adjusting to his absence well.  Like the boys, the end is near and all are feeling that it cannot come quick enough.  She continues to battle in the trenches and make the best of life when she is not in the trenches.  This morning she created an amazing number of breakfast choices for a belated Mother's Day.  We were filled to the brim with satisfaction.  I suggested we package some up and ship off samples, but they did not think it would bode well with the USPS.

Our Queen has had an equally amazing week.  Though she did not get to come home as anticipated last weekend, she did get to come home early this week.  She surprised us all with a notice Wednesday that she had completed her assignment early and wanted to know if we would pick her up the following evening.  I did not let anyone know, well I may have let the cat out of the bag with our box of Rox, but she kept the secret anticipation hidden well.  Everyone else in the house was utterly surprised when she jumped out of cupboards and from behind doors.

So there you have it, another eventful week has come and gone.  I don't know what else to share that has not already been shared.  The sun has started heating up the place.  The lawn and trees are changing to green.  Now if we just had someone to do keep them maintained it would be great.  I guess I will have to work on it.

Have a great week all!
