Leading through Example
Hey Hey Hey I hope this post finds you all enlightened, re-energized, and motivated to make change, be better, or continue doing what is working for you. I know that I am. Conference is such a JOY.
It has been a good week. We received a great deal of moisture. It is inspiring to see the blooming trees, flowers, and shrubs. It brings such a beautiful array of color to the world around us.
Though my mind and heart has been filled the past few days with new things to ponder, I have been amazed at how many of the promptings I have received have just capitalized on the verses of scripture I have pondered this week.
Though I was pondering Alma 12:33-34, the very first line of these verses is what has stuck with me most. "...But God did call on men, in the name of His son, (this being the plan of redemption which was laid)..."
We have been reminded many times this weekend that we need to lead by example. We need to lead by faith. We need to live in faith. This verse says just that. Our Heavenly Father is doing all that He asks of us. He is calling on us, PRAYER, in the name of the SAVIOR, His son. He is doing this because He has faith in the plan He has establish for us. He also has faith in us.
Keep reading... He calls upon us in faith to repent with softened hearts. He knows that He has provided not only a way for us to return to Him, but the means to overcome all things that might stand in the way of getting there. We just have to follow His example and do the same. Calling upon Him, in the name of His Son, our Savior. We just need to walk in faith.
So there you go. That is where my head has been.
The Queen has chosen another Christmas project and started the process this wonder Conference weekend.
The Professor jumped back into the swing of things as she tracked back on.
I have not heard much from Tall Man or Ehl-Bo. I hope they are well.
Puddin has had a week full of adventures. It has been another wet one. He dabbled in some parkour. He as some work ahead of him.
Lady Hawkins continues in school. We get little updates as the school year winds down.
That is where we have been, what we are doing, and a bunch of stuff in the middle.
