Wowza!

What more can I say than has already been said.  I have been trying to absorb it all.  Last week, I was communicating with SnackPack and he was saying how excited he was to see and hear all the changes and announcements that were coming with this session of general conference.  In jest, I commented, "like what that we are not going to have to pay tithing anymore, home and visiting teaching would be going away, and silly things like that."  We both laughed and he said, "No, we are getting two new apostles."

Well, the prophets of the Lord have spoken.  What wonderful opportunities lay before us.  Not only do we have two new apostles, but so much more to look forward too!

I will admit that since my last posting, I have been slacking in my week of pondering a single verse.  I will add it to my list for this week.  In my travels this past week, I have been doing my best to meet an invitation from my local leaders of finishing The Book of Mormon in the month of March.  I have truly enjoyed going through this amazing book in a fast and furious way.  My eyes have been opened, my thoughts have been lifted, and I have been given so much more to ponder.  Today, I will return to my normal study routine, only to be enhanced by those words of inspiration.

For some reason, probably the fact that I have just recently been going through the book of Ether, I have been pondering the cause of so much destruction in the times of old.  It was all pride, jealousy, envy, strife, and more.  However, what stood out more than anything was this strife that was within the family.  Father against son, son against father, brother against brother, nephew against uncle, even daughter against father.  It all starts at home.  We need to heed the words of our inspired leaders that we have heard this weekend.

I would love to hear your thoughts.

Our week has been full.

I spent the week in Chicago.  It was a week filled with long commutes, inspired conversations with complete strangers, and wonderful moments of pondering.

The Queen was in Houston.  Well, I guess she started in Denver and ended in Houston.  She is kind of sad that she won't be back for a while.  It looks like next month's assignment will be in a different city.  She was able to come home late Saturday evening.

The Professor has been trying to get organized before Spring Break, even though it won't be much of break for her.  She has a couple more chapters to finish before the week's end.

Tall Man and Ehl-Bo joined us for conference this afternoon.  It was good to visit and catch up.  They have both been busy with rehearsals.  They will be sharing leading roles in the next performance.   That is kind of exciting.  Tall Man is working hard helping his company relocate and Ehl-Bo has been acquiring tools to extend her Etsy Creations.

Puddin and Lady Hawkins were in the neighborhood this week, even though I did not get a hug for Lady Hawkins it was good to know they are both well.  School and work seems to dominate their time.

I hope your week has been great and that the week to come will be safe for all.
