Marveling the Marvelous
Yippee Hiyeaaa!
How goes it cowboys and cowgirls? I hope you week has been filled with joy and adventure. I know mine has been.
Among the many adventures, I have been pondering D&C 76:16-20. Yet again, I am filled with joy and amazement at how the Lord knows me individually. I don't know why it amazes me so much, but it does. As I pondered these verses, I found myself marveling just as Joseph and Sydney.
These verses are truly filled with truth, love, and mercy.
The key has been meditating. I truly know and understand the importance of studying, pondering, and meditating upon the words of our God and his prophets.
These verses only capitalized my study of 2 Nephi 9. My eyes were open to so much understanding that I had not really thought of before. As part of my study, I came across insight and understanding from recent prophets -

These verses only capitalized my study of 2 Nephi 9. My eyes were open to so much understanding that I had not really thought of before. As part of my study, I came across insight and understanding from recent prophets -
“Just as a man does not really desire food until he is hungry, so he does not desire the salvation of Christ until he knows why he needs Christ.
“No one adequately and properly knows why he needs Christ until he understands and accepts the doctrine of the Fall and its effect upon all mankind. And no other book in the world explains this vital doctrine nearly as well as the Book of Mormon” Ezra Taft Benson
“A man walking along the road happens to fall into a pit so deep and dark that he cannot climb to the surface and regain his freedom. How can he save himself from his predicament? Not by any exertions on his part, for there is no means of escape in the pit. He calls for help and some kindly disposed soul, hearing his cries for relief, hastens to his assistance and by lowering a ladder, gives to him the means by which he may climb again to the surface of the earth.
“This was precisely the condition that Adam placed himself and his posterity in, when he partook of the forbidden fruit. All being together in the pit, none could gain the surface and relieve the others. The pit was banishment from the presence of the Lord and temporal death, the dissolution of the body. And all being subject to death, none could provide the means of escape.
“Therefore, in his infinite mercy, the Father heard the cries of his children and sent his Only Begotten Son, who was not subject to death nor to sin, to provide the means of escape. This he did through his infinite atonement and the everlasting gospel." Joseph Fielding Smith
I hope you take time to study them both as well.
Our week has been event filled.
The Queen had a few extra days of rest from training. She took on the challenge of painting. She was very ambitious in her attempts. In the end, the project will wait to be finished.
The Professor finished another track of the year. Now she is on her way to other adventures.
We had the opportunity to attend Ehl-Bo's most recent showing of talents. It was an evening we will always remember. Yes, there was the bonus of seeing Tall Man as well, but the evening was all about Ehl-Bo.
We, or I, have not heard much from Pudding and Lady Hawkins. We were hoping to hear from them soon.
Big shout out to Anna Banana, it was a joy to share an evening with her.
Though I was not able to attend, I understand that Song Bird's graduation was smashing. I was sorry I could not attend.
So there you go, another week of fun.
