Remember them No More
Good Afternoon,
Here I am again, trying to figure out my routine. I find myself with a few spare moments. I need to get a better handle on those moments. It has been a busy week and is promising to give me another in the week to come. Let's see what we can share this week.
Pondering: Alma 36:18-19
"Now, as my mind caught hold upon this thought, I cried within my heart: O Jesus thou Son of God, have mercy on me, who am in the gall of bitterness, and am encircled about by the everlasting chains of death."
" And now, behold, when I thought this, I could remember my pains no more;, yea, I was harrowed up by the memory of my sins no more."
My question to all is, have we ever caught hold of such a thought? Have we ever been in the "gall of bitterness" and called upon God in the name of Jesus Christ? Have we ever ask for the mercy of our Savior? Have we ever been in utter despair?
I know I have. Each time has been for a different reason, sin, health, concern for a loved one, and more. I have found myself kneeling, pleading, begging, and grovelling before my maker asking for his tender mercies. I would ask you to think of those moments of pure sincerity.
Now, what was the result? Have you felt that overwhelming peace? Have you felt the loving warm of the spirit wrap around you and tell you, you are forgiven, you will be ok, it will work out, I am with you? Can you deny these experiences?
Do you have those feelings now? If not, how do you get it back?
Here is my pondering to leave with you this week.
I know that I have felt his tender mercies in my life. I long to have them with me always. I know that when I keep the covenants I make in those times if need, I am free from the harrowing memories and guilt, but the minute I turn from those covenants, the harrowing returns. I invite you to return to those covenants.
Our week -
It has been busy. The Queen has been a little under the weather, but plugs along every day.
The Professor is crazy busy and working hard to build her team.
Tall Man and Ehl-Bo are progressing day by day. Little Lego is growing like a week.
Puddin made it past the second level and is moving on to the next. We are excited for him and Lady Hawkins. We understand that Lady Hawkins is looking forward to a few days off, from school anyway, in the weeks to come.
SnackPack received "Big Boy Training" this week and continues to be ever busy. He is riding the waves.
We are glad that Gram S is really healing fast. She still has some to go, but is on the way.
Love you all
