The Winds Be a Blow'n

This post is coming from the laptop.   I will do my best to be complete and thorough in my updates, but I cannot promise anything.   It has been a whirlwind of a week, surprise.  We have all survived, have our health for the most part, and will live to tell about another one to come.

SnackPack is back in the working world.  He spent all day Sunday and Monday on the stand.  He was there today as well.  When I asked him how it was, he said it was cold.  I thought that was an interesting way to look at it.  He sure looks like he has some tan lines starting.  After sitting all weekend, he spent the rest of the week doing all that he could to make up for the boredom.  He performed at the Senior awards banquet, ran with friends, hung with friends, got colored with friends, and invited the special ones to dinner.  He is doing all that he can to get out of going to campus this week and preparing for high adventures on his first tour that starts next Saturday.

The Queen spent some long days training this week.  We are all suffering from lack of sleep.  The boys don't have polo or swim, but someone is always up around 4 in our house.  It will be interesting to see what summer brings.  The Queen was up a couple times before 3 this week.  But it is over for now.  We should start seeing things calm down a little from her part of the world.  A new bid starts this week.  She is going in a little earlier than last, but it always seems to change.

The Professor seems to be suffering from sleep deprivation right along with us.  She called me from work the other day to tell me how hard it was to keep her eyes open.  It was only 730 in the morning.  I had already been at work for 2 hours and fallen asleep at least twice.  It is a good think our vehicles know how to get to our places of employment.  She is very envious of the boys and the fact that they are within days of summer freedom.  She would like to start counting down, just like the rest of the faculty, but it is still too early for her.

Puddin spend the weekend laying down insurance policies.  Then he spend the week cashing in on them one class period at a time.  We are pleased to announce that he will be walking the walk on Thursday up at the U. Now he is ready to join the ranks of adulthood.  I don't think it has completely hit him as of yet, but it is getting close.

Both boy performed in the Spring concert.  Did we mention that SnackPack made MADs.  He is excited to have a tux instead of something sparkly.  It was a nice moment to see Puddin pass his light on to SnackPack in the final tribute. SnackPack showed us how well he can bust a move and Puddin brought Tom out for a visit.  It was a good performance.  I think it is a prelude of things to come as the announcement was made that they have received the blessing of the district to make it an academy.

We attended a couple weddings and passed on a couple others.  This week we will just prepare for the U and tour.  Summer is quickly upon us.

I hope you all have a great week.  Let the light shine from within.
