Week of Changes
This week has been a week of change. I don't even know where to start with all the change.
We converted from May to June. Wow, what a change that was, no one wants to go to school anymore.
A new bid started at work. The Queen goes to work a little earlier, but the boys don't have to get up for school, so it is OK.
The 5th Ward lost a great Bishop and gained a new one in the making.
Puddin no longer belongs to the world of High School.
A wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and wife gave up the battle of mortality and passed on to rest.
And finally, I was ambushed and forced to use a different shirt to run in. It has been a good 6 months running in the same shirt. It conformed to my every move. People knew it was mine and where I hung it. Now I have to break in another one.
So those are some of the changes. Lets break down the week.
Monday was just another day in paradise. I spent the day trying to fix things and prepare for the week to come. I was able to get the computer back up and running of sorts. I did a little grocery shopping. In my spare time I think I was able to get the sprinklers up and running. Now we just need to see if the grass will grow back.
The Queen spent her day at work and then came home to juggle activities around the house.
The Professor instructed, read books, and joined us for FHE.
Puddin spent the day downtown with friends and relatives. He got a job offer and learned that taking the bus is something he could get use to.
SnackPack learned that Maleficent is not such a bad witch after all.
Tuesday was back to the grind for me. I was glad to have a new month to keep me busy. After work, I visited with several amazing individuals and learned something new from each of them. I was inspired.
The Queen joined me at work and tried to inspire the boys to start packing.
The Professor learned that parenting is not for everyone, but it happens anyway.
Puddin did what he could to chill and not get into too much trouble.
SnackPack avoids trouble, but does his best to raise the roof where ever he goes.
Wednesday was eventful. After work, I enjoyed some time with 12 year olds. I learned what the best foods are for backpacking.
The Queen visited The AC with the girls.
The Professor wishes she had visited The AC with the girls.
Puddin waited until his girl was off work before visiting The AC.
SnackPack did his best to hold out, but finally gave in to temptation and visited The AC after going to Menchies and the Cafe on the River. Can you say overload?
Thursday, we spent the day together, well kind of. Puddin left at 8, The Queen, Professor, and I left at 830, and SnackPack left around 915. Surprisingly enough, we all ended up at the same destination. We met up with Grandpa G, Grandma G and S, Puddin's side kick and a Destiny. It was bound to happen. This is what we witnessed: (you will have to go to the actual web page to see it. cow314.blogspot.com)
When it was all said and done, we met at Pi and celebrated. It was a good day.
Friday was back to the grind for all of us, well except for Puddin and SnackPack. I understand that Puddin visited the House of the Lord and then chilled until the family gathering. SnackPack ended up in the Hills for a while and then was told to come him and pack.
It was a nice evening spent with family and friends.
Saturday was a special day. Puddin and SnackPack boarded a big gray bus. The Queen puttered around the house cleaning up after Puddin and SnackPack. The Professor dove into another realm and then visited friends from Cali. The Queen and I went to see what SnackPack was talking about down in the Moors, then we crashed.
We lost two boys for the week and gained two dogs. Side kick shared some inspiring words before starting her adventure. I wish I could share them, but the device they were recorded on will not let us transfer them. Aunt N, Uncle B, and Grams and Gramps went to Alaska. This morning we learned that Aunt S, a Misti mother, passed from this life to the next. We will share more details as we get them.
Hope your week was just as eventful. Number 5, let me know if I got the address right. I have been working on it for a while and just keep fat fingering stuff. Cheers all!
