Typing with Disabled Wings
OK I don't know how this will go this week, but I will try. I have a great deal on my mind. However, it may have to wait until I have full typing dexterity to share them.
The week has been interesting. I started the same place I have started every week for the past two months...the doctor's office. This week it was with an orthopedic specialist. He took a look at my hand, consulted with a dermatologist and said when would you like surgery, tomorrow or Thursday. I chose Tuesday. Yea!
It has been a wonderful experience. I have a piece of foam wrapped around my ring finger that gets in the way of everything. I hope that the graft took and that it will be removed tomorrow.
The Queen has been there with me every step of the way. I sometimes wonder how she puts up with me and my antics. Other than that, she has just tried to recover from trek the week before. Work has been kind of crazy, but she endures that as well as she endures me.
The Professor really took the week off. She has found a pile of books and lost herself within them. Luckily, we were able to fix the air conditioner early in the week.
Tall Man has filled his days with work and service. He was thrilled to receive one of Canada's best on Thursday. I also understand he applied for a more stable position. We hope to hear about that soon.
Puddin has been doing the same. Working, relaxing, and chillin. He did hear today that President will have everything finalized and sent by Tuesday. Paperwork should be at headquarters by the end of the week. Now it is a wait and see. He thinks it would be cool to be in the training center the same time as his grandparents who will be serving down south starting in September.
SnackPack worked a great deal this week. Then he played hard on Saturday. Today he is sporting a signed T-shirt from Mayday Parade. I don't know if it will help him achieve his new goals in the upper three degrees, but at least he has something new to shoot for.
Life is good. We hope that those who are joining us will not be afraid to ask for translations. We are just weird that way and hope you enjoy the post. You can always go directly to the blog site for a full history.
