Opportunity

I was at meeting the other day and saw this saying hanging on the wall. It struck me as interesting. The more I looked at it the more I learned.

What do you see? This is a lesson in attitude. Do you read it as Opportunity is no where! Or do you read it as Opportunity is now here! The way we look at life and the path ahead of us greatly depends upon our attitudes. We need to look for the positive and not the negative.

I know that this message probably sounds like a broken record, but I seem to hear just the opposite over and over again. Telling ourselves that it will never happen, it will never change, that we are destine to fail, or any other such verbiage will not help us move forward.

Just like the statement. We have to see the where the opportunity is. It is here or not. If we don't look for it, we will never see it. Once we see it, we have to work to make it happen. It doesn't just happen over night. It doesn't happen by itself. We have to see the opportunity, make the opportunity, and reach for it. We have to do something.

We have to do it in a positive way. Stop looking at the negative. Look at all the things you learn from others. Learn that you will not do things the way some people do. You will not treat others the way other have treated you are others. You will not teach a certain way. You will do more. Care more. Help more. Lift others more... The list goes on and on. Seek and ye shall find, knock and it will be opened to you, ask and ye shall receive. Different verbiage, same message.
