Get Lost
Today our meetings were good. I was reminded, as I have been over the past few weeks, of the importance of looking out for the spiritual and temporal well being of those around us. We will find more joy in life if we do.
We have been taught about the importance of fortifying our spiritual testimonies. We need to experience our own special communication with the Holy Ghost. As I have pondered how I can help others have that experience, I realize that if one is so consumed with their own lives that they cannot see the world around them, they will rarely experience that communication.
Isn't the Lord's plan incredible. He tells us that we need to loose ourselves in the service of others. We need to be aware of those around us. We need to look for ways to build them up and fortify them. Then this is the cool part, if others are doing the same, then they will be watching out for us and seek ways that they can build us up. We end up serving one another.
However, if we cannot look beyond ourselves, then we may never enjoy the blessing the Lord has in store for us. Therefore, I say unto you Get Lost!
