1 Nephi 2:10
The valley was named Lemual. It represented a firm foundation that provided shelter, food, and protection to all those who entered it.This valley changes and grows with the seasons of time, but it follows a pattern and is ever growing in strength. It can be wild and untamed or it can follow the pattern with dignity.The river flows through it. Bringing in life and righteousness. As long as these two work harmoniously, the valley will continue to stand as a place of refuge. It will provide fruit for all walks of life. It will protect those who live harmoniously within it. Its cycle of life will continue to with glory and honor.This valley and river need each other. We too need each other. We need to follow the patterns and cycles of life, finding strength and righteousness from the living water. As we grow in our cycle we share what we have, what we know, and grow from that which others share with us. We need each other. We are not sent here to do it alone.
