1 Nephi 3:2

After Nephi has returned and shared his spiritural experience, Lehi shares another of his. As Patriarch, he tells Nephi how he has been given revelation for his family. He tells him of his dream.

Nephi learns that he and his brothers are asked to return to Jerusalem. How would that be? In today's world, we have Mapquest, road maps, GPS units, and more. Lehi's family had just come into the wilderness, did the mark their path? or were they running for their lives? How did they know how to get back? What do you think was going through their minds on the way back? We know that the people of Jerusalem were seeking to kill Lehi, what about his family.

I have a feeling that Lehi and his family were well known. Was this a test of the faith of these boys? Did they pass? How long did it take? They had traveled for three days to get there, how long did it take to get back?

Would you do it? What can we learn from this faith and determination to go back. Laman and Lemuel did not want to go back, but when Nephi said he would go, they did. Why do you think that is? Was it peer pressure? Were they guilted into it? How can we influence others for good?
