Investing

I have been thinking a great deal about investing the past few days. When someone invests, how to they know it will be a good investment? How do they know when the investment has gone bad? How do they know when to cut their loses and just move forward? How do they recover from the downside of investing? Do they ever come out ahead and call it good? Do they just count the good investments and forget about the poor ones? How do they do it?

Why am I asking all these questions you ask? I don't know, it has just been on my mind. You know that investing is done with more than just money. I have invested the past 22 years into a companionship. Has it had is gains and loses? Does one out weigh the other?

I have also invested the same amount of time to the company I work for. Have there been gains and loses? Does one out weigh the other?

I also look at the time I have invested in my children, I have not invested equal amounts of time, but each investment has great value to me. I have put a great deal of my life striving to live according to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have a feeling that I will continue in such investments.

So the questions still exist. Are some of these investments good or are they poor? How will I know? When do I stop investing? When do I invest more?

How much has the Lord invested in us? Are some of them good or are they poor? How will he know? Will he stop investing? When does he invest more? Is there anything we can do to change the value of his investment? Are we?

Where are your investments?
