Monday, but the ride continues
Wow, I believe the weekend is over, but still wonder if the ride is. We started the weekend off with a dinner show. Tall man and his school were trying to raise money for their summer tour. It was a fun evening. It was long, but fun. We all got home somewhat late and headed to Saturday.
Saturday was designated Prom Day. Tall man and his group, were meeting at our house at 8 in the morning to get the back yard ready for dinner. The Queen and I were up before them and prepping the yard before they arrived. Tenor man and Horn man had to be at the Crop Garden just a few minutes before 8. I had to be at the Cattle Ranch by 8:30. The Queen and Princess stayed home to get ready for the Primary Activity at 2.
I pulled back into the homestead about 1. The Queen was getting ready to leave. I grabbed a bite to eat and followed right behind her. We had wonder showing at the Primary activity. At 4:30, the Queen's court sent her away to help get ready for the Prom Dinner.
A little after 5, the boys of Prom night returned to our house and started making dinner. They set the tables, plugged in the lights, and changed into Tuxedos. We helped pick up dates, took some pictures, and then served dinner to the crew.
The crew left the house about 7:30 or 8 and the Queen and I went back out to get ready for the Day of Mothers. She had to go back up to the church and finish up the Primary activities. I went shopping for dinner items. When I got home, the Princess and I cleaned up the crew's dinner items and then I went up to help the Queen.
We got home about 11:30. Tall Man came home about the same time. He was tired, we were tired, our beds were screaming for us to join them.
Sunday morning, the Princess and I were up and making preparations for Mother's Day dinner and breakfast. It was the beginning of a long day. It was all I could do to keep my eyes open during church.
After church, we sent the Queen to her room for a Sunday afternoon nap and we jumped into dinner. I would not have been able to make it without the dedication of our Princess. I think I am coming down with something.
We shared our table with the Queen Mother. It was an enjoyable evening. My Queen Mother and King Father stopped by later in the evening for dessert. I am definitely coming down with something.
This morning, we started bright and early with Jazz Band. Carmen broke down on Saturday evening while Horn man and I were out shopping. Therefore, the Queen had to take me to work this morning. I really did not want to go, but it is what we do. The Queen stayed home to prep for the rest of the week.
I will continue with the ride tomorrow.
