My Sharing

OK, I know that most of you just read my rants and rambles. but I was really reaching out for some conversation with the last one. I even let it go a day. However, I only got one response and no one shared another scripture that may have come to mind.

I guess I will share my feelings. Enos 1:15

"...knowing that the Lord God was able...", just that a lone gives us powerful insight to Enos. This small statement is such a moving comment. How many of us know this? How many of us really believe this? How often do we say it? How often do we say it with such conviction that others know we know? How many times do we walk forward, one step at a time, not seeing, but believing and knowing with conviction that the Lord will be there like Enos does here?

These are just a few of the thoughts that enter my head when I read this verse. I include myself in them. I just have to keep saying it.

I know that the Lord is able..., then I say it again and again until it becomes part of who and what I am. Keep saying it. Sometimes it takes more effort to say and believe it, but we must keep saying it. As we do, the spirit will whisper the truth, power, and give conviction to what you are saying. This conviction will turn to action. The truth of it will radiate from all you do.

I feel that power as I read Enos' words. He knows these things. It is with this trust, confidence, and knowledge that he continued to cry unto Him, over and over again. It was not a one pray ordeal.

Do you pray with such conviction?

As you read this verse, ask yourself such questions. Let yourself be converted through the power of the Holy Ghost. Open your eyes, ears, minds and hearts to the miracles around you. Stand ready to use your arms and hands as instruments in the Lord's work. Walk, run, move forward in faith that you may receive.
