Traditions - What Do They Say

Many years ago my family was blessed by someone else's tradition.  It touched us.  Since then we have tried to carry that tradition.  We have not been as consistent as we would have like to have been, but at least we are trying.  At times, that is all we can do.

In the past several weeks such traditions, acts of service, and even the smallest of life's experiences has set the wheels to spinning in my crazy head.  Today as I pondered, my mind and android took me to a life story that had been shared in RS/HP and FHE as of late.  I never ceased to be amazed and the lessons that are taught and when.

Take the time if you have not had the opportunity to re-read Chapter 1 of the Teachings of the Prophet George Albert Smith.  Then I would ask you to reflect with me.

Are we truly living what we believe?  Does our light shine bright enough for others to see and follow?  Or may be we should reflect upon our lives to see if they are equal to what we think we believe.

Think about it.

PS
Boys are convinced that we really don't have to wash our hands, Jesus said.  Came up in tonight's reading.  Matt.15:20.  Mothers may want to talk to King James and have it removed.
