Who am I?

I am going to try this from the phone.  I hope I can get it right and the auto spell checker doesn't mess things up.  Let me know if it works.

We had ward conference today.  Our bishop spoke his mind and let us know what he has been thinking about lately.  Our theme this year: I am a child of God.

We have been talking about the theme for months now, so it was not new to me.  However, when he started talking my kind was flooded with so many thoughts and recent discussions.  He truly is inspired.  I just hope the ward members received the message as well.

I am a child of God.  This is a fact.  It is not a "I think", "I could be", "I might be", but I am!  We all are. We need to live and act accordingly.

He sent me here.  We came from his place ad abode.  We were with Him.  We came.for a purpose.  Our experiences here are not accidental.  We need to figure it out and complete the task/s given to us.

Has given me and earthly home.  We are not alone.  We have families.  We have parents who are here to help us.  The family, the parents, the unit, the organization, whatever you want to call it was also created with an intent.  Marriage, siblings, extended family, the whole nine yards, is part of the purpose and plan for coming here.  We need to live and follow the precepts give within this structure.

My needs are great.  We need help.  He is there if we will go to him.  He will help us when we are feeling alone, overwhelmed, lost, confused, stressed, friendless, abandoned, or whatever it is.  We just need to go to Him.  Then we Ned to keep moving forward and trust He will make up for where we are lacking as long as we do so in righteousness.

Before it grows too late.  There is a time limit.  We just don't know why the limit is.  If we did, I am afraid "the man" would procrastinate.  Don't we let him do that now?  Like homework, room cleaning, shopping, laundry, dishes, reading scriptures, saying prayers, family home evening, home and visiting teaching, another meeting, etc...

Rich blessed are in store.  How, where, when, you ask?  When we learn His will.  Not our will, but His.  We cannot just learn it, but we must make them one in the same, His and ours.

I know these things are all truth.  I have enjoyed the blessings of living them.  It is not always easy.  It is not always fun.  But well worth the opportunity of living with Him again some day.

If you need to make changes, make them now.  If you are not sure, get on your knees.  Go to Him, He will answer you.  He will bless you, in His time and His way.  Pray for strength to endure until that time comes.  Don't stop and wait for it to arrive, just keep moving forward.
