#LIGHTtheWORLD Dec 13
Greetings all.
Humility - what a challenging word. Even more challenging to live.
I will start with my words. I am going to leave the rest up to you. One of the items suggested was sharing a humbling photo on social media. I am usually behind the camera, not in front of the camera, so I don't have many offerings. I guess this is where you come in. Here is your chance to humble me. Go ahead. I invite you to share humbling photos of me on social media. Live it up. Have fun. Rattle some memories.
Now that your wheels are turning I would like to talk about how important I think it is every once in a while to be humbled. This happens to me quite often. Sometimes more often than I would like, but over time, I have learned from it. I hope to continue learning. In fact, there are many times of late that I am grateful for the reminders that I need to repent. I am saddened when I learn that my lack of humility has hurt or offended another. I promise that it has never been my intent. Hence, the invitation to humble.
I have been inspired so far this month as I walk in to humble experiences, am given humble reminders of needs in this world, and hope to be better in future opportunities. My prayers have been lengthened on others behalf. I find myself pondering ways to help improve the circumstances of others. I am eternally grateful for all the wonderful, loving, and charitable life experiences you have share with me these past few days. I encourage you to continue beyond the season.
