Jesus calmed the storm.  I think it should be changed to Jesus calms the storm.  I find peace in the calm that He renders.  I can help calm the storms of life by becoming or seeking to be one with Him in purpose, power, and witness.

I bring calmness to the storm through prayer.  I cannot express in words, the peace, joy, and strength I feel in prayer, heartfelt prayer that is.  I must admit that there have been and continue to be times, when my prayer is just noise.  I regret that.  I seek to have better communication with my God, my Father, my Savior, my Brother.  Fortunately, I am given time to do so.  I have daily reminders and opportunities to do so.

I find calmness in the storm as I read, study, ponder, and do my best to implement His words.  I love the light that comes into my heart, mind, and soul as He reveals that which I seek while reading the scriptures.  I am forever learning more and more.  I am continually amazed that I am still learning or understanding new things that I know I have read before, been taught before, or should have learned before in my life.

All these things are accumulation of His infinite Atonement.  He calms my life as I come to Him, diligently strive to repent of those things that oppose Him or distract me from Him.  I am grateful for the knowledge I have been given and the opportunity to stand as a witness of those things He has taught me.  I look forward with anticipation to learn more, repent more, and find more calmness in the storm.
