I know I am late this evening.  Time has just gotten away from me, but I wanted to take a quick moment to talk about potentials.  I think about his often.  I am always amazed at how easy it is to look at others and be able to recognize some of their potentials.

For example:

I have a couple brother-in-laws.  Each of them are uniquely different, but have amazing potentials in their own rights. 

One has uber high craftsman abilities.  He can build anything he puts his mind to.  He has powerful eye for design and is able to create what he sees in his mind.

Another is a talented businessman.  He has this ability of reading people, knowing their needs and creating a business that meets them.  His passion is taking a failing business and renovating it to something great.

Then there is the salesman.  He is a people person who works hard, always has smile, and can sell you the hair on your lip and make you feel good for buying it.

And finally the artist.  He is not talented in just one area of art, but many.  He will tell you a story and the paint or draw it for you at the same time.  He brings to life what he sees in his mind.

But if you were to say anything about any of these talents to them, the would humbly tell you it is just what they do and not see it for the potential that is there.

Aren't we all that way in one form or another?

These men are just a few of the incredible influences I have in my life.  I would not be who I am if it were not for all those who just do what they do, and do it well.  I am grateful for their light in my life.  I hope and pray that I am able to return the favor in some fashion.
