I don't think there can ever be enough said about the women in my life and the influence of good that they have been.  I took some time to ponder each of them today an honor them each in different manners.

First, I think of my own Mother.  I would not be who I am if it were not for the great power, love, and devotion she dedicates to my behalf.  Even today, I know that I am a part of her prayers and thoughts.  Through small an simple things are great things brought to pass.  (Not saying I am a great thing, but it is small act of thinking and praying for me that motivates me to do better things)

That being said, it would not be right if I did not look beyond.  I have been honored to be instructed, cared for,  an loved by Grandmothers as well.  I know that it is their dedication to my parent that helped define who I am today.  I will always cherish the sweet moments at their knees, in their kitchens, working in their fields and gardens, vacationing with them, and learning from their histories.  I am sure, though I do not remember much that their mothers were equally influencial.  The pattern continues all the way back to Mother Eve.

What of today?  I know that this angelic influence does not shine upon myself a lone.  I am blessed with siblings.  I see the love and dedication in their lives as well.  I witness the blessings that come to not only my nieces and nephews, but to my children as well.  

Then there is my own loving companion.  I will never be able to express, show, speak, or expound upon the greatness of her being.  She has filled my life to overflowing.  She showers my children in the same dedicated love and sacrifice.  It is her influence that shapes them into the greatness they can become.

Again I know that she was influenced by a mother of her own.  I am filled with honor to be adopted my by Mother-in-law's circle of charitable love.  She to has been a magnificent source of power in my life.

These women are the binding force of my life.  I only pray that I will be able do give them the honor they so richly deserve.
