Racing
Yesterday was a nice relaxing day. I reported on the events of the morning, but I did not report on the second half. We all came home from our different meetings and started different activities.
I spent some time updating the Stake Website and then decided to take a little nap.
Moose headed right for the comforts of his bed.
Tenor Man did his best to remain quiet while the others snoozed.
Horn Man thought he could stay awake, but crashed on couch.
Once we were all well rested, the question came up as to what we should do for the rest of the evening. Our Home Teaching appointment cancelled. Moose forfeited a fireside to go Home Teaching, that ended up cancelling. Tenor Man and Horn Man felt that they should be able to watch TV or a movie. Unfortunately, the DVD player is not working, brand new by the way. So their hands, eyes, and hears were tied. What would they do?
The Queen and I were happy spending time with a good book. We made several suggestions. Moose went down to the comforts of his bed and talked on the phone. With a little encouragement, Tenor Man and Horn Man decided to write a letter to a family member. To make it fun and exciting, they put it in code, Wingdings.
After a while, we popped some popcorn and relaxed. I spent the last part of the evening communicating with an old companion about his daughter coming to the US to learn English. It was interesting.
So, as you read this you are wondering where the title comes from. Well, since a couple little men decided to write letters, we are going to see whose arrives first. Our letters are racing. The end result of a nice Sunday Evening. Let us know who wins.
