Putting one foot in front of the other
I don't know that I have much to report on today. Life is just busy. There does not seem to be a dull moment in our house hold. When I do find a dull moment, my eyelids suddenly feel like lead and I find myself crashing.
Yesterday was a busy day. We were all up before the birds and getting on with the day. When the cat drug me in at 10:30 last night I found that the house was still busy with activity. We were all doing our thing. Moose is trying to make official. He waited until the last moment, but with the Queen's assistance had a lovely arrangement of flowers ready to go. He is thinking about asking a young lady to Home Coming. It will be interesting to hear how it went. We were up until after 11 doing final touches and then he was out the door this morning at 5:40. I was in tow since I was driving, we he was gone.
Horn Man was up a few minutes after Moose so he could take a shower. I don't know why he thought he had to be up that early to shower, but he was. We both had a nice conversation laying on my bed after the Queen went to work and Tenor Man was well on his way to school. We talked about yesterday's blog.
Tenor Man was out the door around 6:30. He is trying to figure out his schedule. It is keeping him busy, but he always seems to find something new to distract him. He and Moose are supposed to be at baptisms this evening. I hope he can keep up on the things he is missing. He had a great deal of work to do before Friday's mid-terms.
As I sit back and reflect upon the busy activities of our lives, I can only hope that they are consistent with what the Lord would consider to be steadfast. I always wonder if I am doing enough or doing it right. I find that the best I can do is keep putting one foot forward and then alternating. Every once in a while I stop and check my bearings to make sure I am moving forward in the right direction. Isn't what it is all about? I hope you are doing the same.
