Tools
I read this interesting quote this morning, "If your only tool is a hammer, the solution to every issue is a nail". I have been thinking about that all day long. Either you are going to pound it in or removed it? What other uses are there for a hammer? The quote has been very thought provoking to me.
I have started thinking about all the different tools I have. Sometimes, I think I have an entire workshop full of tools. As I sat there taking a mental inventory, I started wondering if I am using all the tools I have? What am I building with those tools? Do I understand all the best uses for the tools I have? Have I mastered all those uses? Can I waste more time worrying about the tools I have, polishing them, organizing them, admiring them, and wondering what else I can do with them? Or should I just use them the best I can?
I suggest the same for you. Know your tools. Use them to the best of your ability. And if the only tool you have is a hammer. Use it. Combine your tools with someone else's and build together. Don't be afraid to share your tools with others. The end result will be incredible.
