Order

I have learned a little today.

I have learned that I have a long ways to go about having patience and calm. I tend to over re-act. I am working on it. It is one of my many weakness.

I have also been reminded of the importance of order. I have been taught all my life that one must get his house in order. That does not mean having clean and clutter free house in the physical sense. It relates to all aspects of one's life.

We must have spiritual order. Are we learning, studying, pondering, and increasing on a spiritual plain? Do we have our testimonies in a strong and firm condition, that we might be able to share at any given moment? Standing as a witness at all times in all places? Or does it come out in a rambled pile of words and phrases that does not make sense to you or the persons' you may be sharing it with?

We must have personal order. Are we ever striving to grow? or are we stagnant? Do we have balance in life and the activities around us? or is there so much chaos that we cannot focus on the different aspects of life?

We must have order of all that we are responsible for. Do we able to understand and care for those individuals and things we have responsibility over?

These are challenging questions. These things are very easily lost. If we do not stay focused on where we are going and what we are doing, it is very easy to lose our grip on life and start wandering in darkness of chaos.

Have a plan, write it down, follow it, adapt it to your ever changing life. If life changes, make sure your order changes with it. The chaos may arise for a short period of time, but the order will return quickly, if it was there previously. Don't lose sight of what it is important in life. Follow the counsel that has been given. If it guides you to good fruit, then run with it.
