1 Nephi 2:1
This verse makes me wonder, what kind of trials Lehi was going through? He was faithful in keeping the covenants he had made. He did what the Lord commanded him to do. So how did this affect his relationship with others? It sounds like there were some who were not happy with the choices he was making in his life. Do you think he went to the Lord for strength? Do you think he felt like he was be singled out? Was he fitting in or being himself? Do you think this was discouraging for him? What do you think he did to fix it? I think he had done all that he knew how to do. Life still was not going the way he wanted it. Things were not changing. Lehi turned to the Lord and he was instructed in a dream. What kind of instruction have you had? What kind of desires have you gone to the Lord with?
